We know you can learn to speak Italian fluently and with a good accent, and we prove it to you at your very first lesson. With over 50 years of experience, we are now the largest and most innovative Italian language school in the Philadelphia area. Our professional Italian teachers, all native speakers, hold degrees from Italian Universities and all are trained in our successful method. The classes are conducted mostly in Italian and with about 3-8 people in each one, the students get undivided attention and personal feedback. The AIS levels correspond to the six levels of language proficiency established by the Council of Europe in the Common European Framework for Language. You can find a detailed description of the various levels at the Council of Europe website.

Our school offers daily classes, which are split into 12 different levels, full immersion classes, private lessons, and we even offer translations services. Our teaching methods include both conversation and grammar lessons, along with readings from newspaper articles, short stories and novels, according to the level of the course. Short compositions will also be required, to achieve greater fluency in the language. To stimulate conversation, the teachers employ many different learning tools, from texts to Italian movies and CDs, which explore Italian history, art, politics, contemporary events, famous individuals, and both traditional and modern music. In our office we also offer a wide range of literary works and other publications in Italian that our students can borrow.
