Nicolò Dal Fabbro post-Doc in engineering at UPenn was born and raised in Venice. Nicolò will speak about the global challenges that the city of Venice is facing. He will mention the talk about overtourism, the raising waters and the MOSE.

Innovation and Design in the Heart of Venice - by Arch. Francesco Sgrazzutti

Architect and Instructor of Design Francesco Sgrazzutti studied and lived in Venice. Francesco will talk about how Venice has always been able to bring innovation and design in an historical context. In his presentation Francesco will focus on the recent upscale renovation of Caffe Quadri in Piazza San Marco.
