The course is structured over 12 weeks, with 1-hour sessions. It combines vocabulary of the day, guided meditations in Italian with breathing techniques introduced progressively and discussion in Italian.
The language used will be simple and accessible, supported by clear explanations to facilitate both comprehension and the overall experience. In addition to the benefits related to mindfulness and emotional regulation, the course also aims to enrich vocabulary and increase familiarity with the Italian language, offering a natural learning experience through practice.
12-Week Meditation Curriculum
Phase 1: Foundations of Presence (Weeks 1–2)
Focus: Respiro e Radicamento (Breath and Grounding)
Terminology: Inspirare (Inhale), Espirare (Exhale), Consapevolezza (Awareness), Radicamento (Grounding).
Breath Work:
Natural Breathing: Pure observation without judgment.
Extended Exhalation: Utilizing the 4–6 rhythm to calm the nervous system.
Box Breathing: Equalizing the breath for mental focus.
Nadi Shodhana: Balancing energy through alternate nostril breathing.
Visualization: Introduction to Colors in meditation to shift internal states.
Phase 2: The Physical & Emotional Body (Weeks 3–4)
Week 3 | Meditation 2: Body Awareness. A full-body scan to release tension and anchor the mind in the present moment.
Week 4 | Meditation 3: Inner States. Cultivating deep-seated feelings of peace, love, and joy.
Phase 3: Integration & Gratitude (Weeks 5–6)
Week 5: Integration. Reviewing techniques from the first month
Week 6 | Meditation 4: Gratitude. Shifting perspective toward appreciation to rewire the brain’s positivity.
Phase 4: Restoration & Release (Weeks 7–10)
Week 7 | Meditation 5: Regenerative & Rebalancing. Focusing on cellular rest and restoring the body's natural equilibrium.
Week 8: Integration. Reviewing techniques 6 and 7.
Week 9 | Meditation 6: Stress Reduction. Specific visualizations and breathing patterns designed to lower cortisol.
Week 10 | Meditation 7: Emotional Clearing. Letting go of anxiety and fear to rediscover a core sense of calm.
Phase 5: Abundance & Completion (Weeks 11–12)
Week 11 | Meditation 8: Abundance. Visualizing expansion and the flow of opportunities and resources.
Week 12 | Final Integration: Combined Practice. A synthesis of all techniques followed by moments of deep, silent meditation.
