SUMMERTIME in Todi: Discover the real Italy in Umbria!
















Spend a week with us in the hilltop town of Todi, where Italian isn’t just spoken—it comes to life. Join fellow language lovers for an unforgettable immersion in language, culture, and Italian living.
Italian language lessons are held during the morning and cultural activities in the afternoon.
Students have the opportunity to live with an Italian family, in an independent apartment, or in hotel.
Cultural Activities and Excursions Itinerary
Sunday - June 21st, 2026 - Todi
We’ll meet at Rome International Airport Fiumicino FCO in the morning for private transportation to Todi.
Benvenuti a Todi! Get settled in and meet your host family!
5:30 - 7:30 pm: Get a taste of Todi with our Guided tour, including a visit of Palazzo Vescovile. Then, enjoy Aperitiviamo, a chance to have a chat in Italian outside the classroom in a relaxed bar setting, drinking a Prosecco or a refreshing mocktail with your teacher!
8:00 pm: Dinner with your host family
Monday - June 22nd, 2026 - Olive Oil at Frantoio
Breakfast with your host family
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Italian class at La Lingua La Vita
3:30 - 7:30 pm: VISIT AT FRANTOIO CLERICI, a typical local farm that produces its own olive oil, spelt, legumes and wine. You will visit the farm and learn more about olive oil, how to read labels and how to properly appreciate the peculiarity of typical Umbrian olive oil. The experience will end with a tasting of products made at the farm.

Tuesday - June 23rd, 2026 - Spoleto
Breakfast with your host family
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Italian class at La Lingua La Vita
2:30 - 7:30 pm: A guided journey to discover the charm of Spoleto! From the Cathedral with Filippo Lippi’s frescoes to the majestic Albornoz Fortress, from the Roman Theatre to the medieval alleys leading to the Ponte delle Torri, this itinerary blends art, history, and breathtaking views. This is an afternoon filled with culture and beauty.

Wednesday - June 24th, 2026 - Cooking and Dining
Breakfast with your host family
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Italian class at La Lingua La Vita
4:30 - 9:00 pm: Let’s cook together! Umbrian Cooking class in Italian with an Italian family. Discover typical dishes and ingredients of the Umbria region. After learning tricks and secrets from the host cook, you will enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared, having a lovely dinner together.
Thursday- June 25th, 2026 - Assisi

9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Italian Class at La Lingua La Vita
2:30 - 7:30 pm: GUIDED VISIT OF ASSISI! This picturesque pilgrimage destination has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. The town is beautifully situated on a fertile hillside, decorated with olive groves and cypress trees. It is the birthplace of two of Catholicism's most revered saints, who influenced both the town's history and humanity itself: St. Francis (1182) and St. Clare (1193). You will take time to appreciate the frescos in St. Francis church, stroll alleys of the town, and relax in cozy terraces and small squares to drink a cappuccino, a refreshing beer, or a good glass of DOC Assisi wine.

Friday- June 26th, 2026 - Orvieto and Winery
Breakfast with your host family
8:30 am - 12:30 pm: Italian class at La Lingua La Vita
2:00 - 7:30 pm: We will stroll around Orvieto, a millenary city where time seems to have stopped. You will have the chance to relax, enjoy some shopping, and appreciate the beautiful Cathedral and its frescos before starting a pleasant guided tour along the vineyard and caves of one of Orvieto’s most important and famous wineries, well known for the legendary Bianco di Orvieto. We will end our tour with a delightful wine tasting.

Saturday - June 27th, 2026 - Departure
