Silvia Luongo

CILS AND DITALS EXAM COORDINATOR

Silvia Luongo holds a MA in Foreign Languages for International Communication, specializing in teaching Italian as a Second Language, from the Università degli Studi di Bergamo. She has over 15 years of experience teaching Italian across various levels at institutions in the U.S. and abroad, including the America-Italy Society (AIS). Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of European and Eurasian Studies at UT Austin in Texas. Silvia is a certified CILS examiner and serves as the General CILS Coordinator for both AIS-Phila and UT-Austin.
