Sunday Morning
(10.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. US time)
La Lingua La Vita welcomes you online!  Getting to know each other: Meet online La Lingua La Vita staff and teachers and introduce yourself to the group.  Our director and our qualified Italian teachers will present  your lesson program and virtual cultural activities. Teachers will also describe the material already sent to you via e-mail: Welcome Letter, Language and Cultural program description. Preliminary Test, Final Feedback, Welcoming Card with discount on online shopping at the best shops in Todi, a Todi brochure with historical and general information on the town.

Italian group lessons – Students can be divided in groups according to their knowledge of Italian language after La Lingua La Vita preliminary test. Interactive didactic material, lessons based on a communicative method and on a cultural approach. Dynamic, enjoyable lessons appropriate to each student’s learning style.

An evocative tour in Todi and its Etruscan and Roman traditions – Online Guided historic walking tour of the town
(Roman Cisterns - first century B.C., Civic Museum, Nido dell’Aquila, Museo Lapidario). An online tour will be shown to the group with the help of the Museum Coordinator in Todi and your Italian teacher that will describe in detail the history, anecdotes, stories, legends and hidden places of Todi during Roman and Etruscan ages. After watching the video, students can discuss the topics with their teachers.

Todi, a charming medieval and renaissance town: Online Guided tour of the town’s most beautiful churches (Todi Cathedral, San Fortunato Church, Annunziatina Church). An online tour will be shown to the group with the help of the Museum Coordinator in Todi and your Italian teacher who will describe the wonder of medieval and renaissance churches in Todi.
After watching the video, students can discuss the topics with their teachers.

Virtual Italian Cooking Course – Umbrian Cooking class in Italian with one of our local families in Todi, a step-by-step instructional course that will get students cooking like a real Italian! Participants will learn how to cook traditional meals. Recipes and ingredients will be sent out upon your registration to the program, so that you can cook the presented meal during the lessons in your own kitchen.

IF YOU COME IN 2021 YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EAT THE MEAL YOU HAVE VIRTUALLY COOKED IN 2020. With a few glasses of wine.

Special  Group  Italian lesson
10.45-11-30 SPECIAL ITINERARY LESSON IN TODI: Your Italian teacher will lead you through the city center, visiting the best shops in Todi. You can meet local vendors and practice your Italian with them.
 
Thursday afternoon
(12.30  p.m. – 3.00 p.m. US time)

Guided tour to Caseificio Montecristo (https://www.caseificiomontecristo.it/) – Online Cheese Tour to this typical and famous farm in Todi, born 25 years ago, owned by the Agricultural Technical Institute in Todi, the oldest in Italy.
They produce about 70 types of cheese!
Together with your teacher, who will participate in the tour, you will learn vocabulary and useful words related to cheese. The school will send e-brochures to students upon their registration to the program so students can read them while taking the tour.

9.00-10.45 Group  Italian lesson
10.45-11-30 SPECIAL ITINERARY LESSON IN TODI: Your Italian teacher will lead you through the city center, visiting the more best shops in Todi. You can meet local vendors and practice your Italian with them.
 
 
Friday afternoon
(12.30  p.m. – 3.00 p.m. US time)

Special Italian lesson on Olive Oil & Guided tour to the Agriturismo Passo della Palomba (www.passodellapalomba.com)
After a special Italian lesson on extra-virgin olive oil with La Lingua La Vita Director Stefania Belli, there will be an online tour at the Agriturismo Passo della Palomba, where you can visit the family-run oil farm, “walk” in the olive groves, visit the oil press. The school will send e-brochures to students upon their registration to the program so students can read them while taking the tour and order some good EVO!
