Learning Italian with songs. Why is it useful?
Listening to Italian songs is a fun and relaxing way to learn Italian. Songs have been scientifically proven to be useful in learning a language:
  • Songs provide authentic educational material. They contain not only useful vocabulary and structures, but also proverbs, colloquial expressions and regionalisms.
  • Songs can be used to explore cultural content.
  • It makes memorizing phonemes, vocabulary and structures easier.
  • It helps improve pronunciation.

Every other week, a teacher will present an important singer (after 1960s) and her/his songs; every other week, Hilary will introduce new artists, new styles, new music: Musica, maestro!

​This is a review course where instead of an audiobook we use songs: listening, reading and understanding, grammar, vocabulary, discussion. And sing along, if you like it!
