Lorenza Starace

LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Lorenza Starace is a fiction writer from Naples, Italy. She holds a BA in Italian Studies from the Sapienza University of Rome, an MA in Comparative and Postcolonial Literatures from the University of Bologna, and a PhD in Romance studies from Duke University. Her research interests include world literature, theory of the novel, history of publishing, and gender studies.

She currently lives in Philadelphia, where she teaches Italian language classes, works as an editorial intern at Princeton University Press, and reads prose submissions for Ploughshares.

Lorenza is also currently working on a collection of short stories and a novel.
