DAILY ITALIAN INTENSIVE CLASSES: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., coffee & cookies at 10:30 a.m., 15 hrs in total.

Beginner level: Sept. 13-17; Intermediate level : Sept. 20-24, 2010

15 hrs $ 250 (5% OFF for active members; 10% OFF for current students)

Experienced and patient native instructors with relevant academic and cultural training establish a relaxed yet rigorous learning environment suited to the needs of the adult learner.

Beginner class will involve learning Italian grammar and vocabulary, speaking and listening as much as possible, as well as some reading and writing. Our aim is to develop your ability to understand and communicate in Italian, not just to teach you grammar.

In the Intermediate class, through drills, games, songs, written and oral exercises, and role-playing, instructors guide students through the grammar and syntax and help them on their way towards linguistic proficiency. Literature, Arts, Culinary History , Music, (and some grammar) will take you to Italy every morning.

Minimum 4 students per class. Enrollment is contingent upon advanced payment for course and materials. To be eligible for a refund, student must contact the office at least 24 hours before the first class. After the first class, only a credit for the next session will be issued (a $30.00 per hour is retained by the School). No credit is issued after the end of the 2th day of class.
Students who are new to the AIS Italian Language School but who are not enrolling into Beginner  class must take an informal placement test.

The Society reserves the right to cancel a class as circumstances demand, in which case any unused tuition will be refunded.
