Dear Members and Friends of the America-Italy Society:

            I am writing first to extend my sincere appreciation for your support of the America-Italy Society over the past twelve months.  The Society could not exist without the generosity of its members, students and friends.

            While the Society is not immune to the extraordinary financial strains of our time, I am also writing to reassure you that during this economic downturn we are committed to staying strong and purposeful in our cultural and educational programs.

            Now, more than ever, your participation and your enthusiasm for the Society are critically important to the future of this wonderful institution.

            On the reverse side of this letter we are listing some of the activities scheduled for the winter and spring.  These and other events will be announced in full detail in fliers and emails sent in the coming months to the Society’s members and friends.  You may also check our website (www.aisphila.org) for past and future activities.

            We are always looking for ways to make the America-Italy Society of greater value to you.  Perhaps you know persons with leadership qualities and expertise in not-for-profit organizations who could make a meaningful contribution to our society. Do let us know if you have any suggestions.

           I sincerely hope you will want to continue enjoying activities at the America-Italy Society.  Enclosed is a form for your convenience in renewing your annual membership.  If possible, please increase your gift this year.  If you have already renewed or you are an Honorary Life Member, please disregard this form and accept our sincere thanks.
