The America-Italy Society School of Italian Language

ciao@aisphila.org

Our school offers a wide selection of courses (10 different levels) and our teachers – a young and enthusiastic group – are all native speakers who have obtained their degrees at Italian universities. Our teaching methods include both discussions and grammar lessons, along with readings from newspaper articles, short stories and novels, according to the level of the course. Short compositions will also be required, so to achieve greater fluency in the language. To stimulate conversation, the teachers employ many different learning tools, from texts to Italian movies and CDs, which center on Italian history, art, politics, contemporary events, famous individuals, and both traditional and modern music. In our office we also offer a wide range of literary works and other publications in Italian for use by our students.
